1. No Guaranteed Results
Individual results vary. Fade and Flourish does not guarantee specific outcomes, timelines, or number of sessions required. Factors that influence outcomes include (but are not limited to) skin type, lifestyle, genetics, age, overall health, sun exposure, adherence to aftercare, and consistency with recommended treatment cadence.
2. Consultation & Eligibility
A consultation may be required prior to certain services. During consultation we assess suitability and discuss realistic expectations. We reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment if it is not medically appropriate or safe.
3. Common, Temporary Reactions
Many treatments can cause temporary effects. Depending on the service and your skin, you may experience:
- Redness, warmth, or mild swelling
- Dryness, flaking, or tightness
- Temporary sensitivity or tenderness
- Temporary darkening/lightening in treated areas (where applicable)
- Breakouts or purging (especially with exfoliating or congestion-clearing treatments)
These are not always adverse events. They can be part of a normal healing process. If symptoms are severe, worsening, or unusual for your situation, contact us.
4. Aftercare Responsibility
Aftercare instructions are part of your treatment plan. Your results, comfort, and safety can depend heavily on following them. You agree to follow your aftercare guidance, which may include:
- Avoiding sun exposure and using SPF as directed
- Pausing certain products (e.g., strong actives) for a recommended period
- Avoiding heat, sweating, or friction when instructed
- Keeping the treated area clean and protected
- Not picking, scratching, or exfoliating prematurely
5. Combination Treatments & Timing
Combining services may improve results for some clients, but timing matters. You should not assume treatments can be performed back-to-back without guidance. We will advise appropriate spacing and may decline combinations that increase risk.
6. Pre-Existing Conditions & Disclosures
You are responsible for disclosing relevant medical history, allergies, medications, pregnancy/breastfeeding status, and prior procedures. Withholding information can increase risk and may affect outcomes.
7. Photos & Marketing (With Consent)
We may take before-and-after photos for clinical documentation and progress tracking. We will only use photos for marketing/social media/website with your written consent.
